Promoting biathlon with safe equipment

Promoting biathlon is a vital part of the IBU Target 30 strategy. This project aims to inspire and encourage kids and youths to practice biathlon by giving them sustainable, safe equipment and a comprehensive activities toolkit that can be used across the world. Through the ‘Biathlon for All’ program, IBU is assisting National Federations by providing laser/optical rifle equipment (rifles, targets, supporters, mats), and promotional materials and funds to help implement their strategy for recruiting and training kids and youths. This project will continue for an extended period.

Biathlon federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the laser project beneficiaries, and this week we got five new laser rifles with targets and rifle carriers.
